What can I do to prevent bad breath?

How often should I have a dental exam and cleaning?
We recommend having a checkup and getting your teeth cleaned at least twice a year, although depending on your oral health and circumstances, your dentist might recommend more frequent visits. Regular visits, cleaning and exams are all important in maintaining your oral health and preventing any future problems. During regular visits, your teeth are thoroughly cleaned and checked for cavities.
